Laboratory Room 423 & 415

The laboratory consists of a 1200 sq. ft. room with two bench level hoods, a walk in hood, three two sided center benches and two single wall benches. The laboratory is well equipped to carry out standard chemical analysis and biochemical assay with a substantial amount of the usual glass ware, columns, pumps, vacuum manifold, balances, two refrigerators, etc. In addition, there are one Waters HPLC unit and one Perkin Elmer HPLC unit consisting of gradient solvent delivery systems, UV/VIS tunable detectors and autosamplers. There is also an older Waters gradient HPLC with Kratos Spectroflow 757 tunable UV/VIS detector which is used for preparative separations. The laboratory is also equipped with a Millipore Milli-Q water purification system.

The Laboratory is flanked by two separate rooms each of 300 sq. ft. for postdoctoral fellows and students working with Dr. Thatcher.
