Endowed Professorship in Pharmacognosy

The Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy invites applications for the newly created Norman R. Farnsworth Professor of Pharmacognosy faculty position. This endowed tenured professorship requires that the candidate holds a doctorate and has established a distinguished research career. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated research interest in the scientific study of higher plants with regard to their chemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology. The candidate will be expected to pursue independent and collaborative research. Leadership skills are essential. Participation in the professional and graduate programs in the College of Pharmacy is required.

Faculty Positions in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy

The Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy invites applications for full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty positions. A doctorate and postdoctoral experience are required, and a background in pharmacy is desirable. Successful candidates will have the potential to develop/maintain a strong, extramurally- funded, independent research program that complements expertise in the department and fosters collaborations. Teaching in the professional and graduate programs of the College of Pharmacy is required. Postdoctoral Positions in Cell Biology/Molecular Biology

Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Judy L. Bolton and Dr. Greg Thatcher. The positions involve the study of biological effects of estrogens and antiestrogens.
