Visiting Research Specialist/Assistant in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy
A visiting research specialist position is available immediately in the laboratories of Dr. Judy L. Bolton and Dr. Birgit Dietz, Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, UIC College of Pharmacy, Chicago. The position involves mechanistic cell based assays and animal model experiments on botanical dietary supplements used for women’s health. In addition, lab management skills are highly desirable. Applicants should be motivated and have a bachelor’s degree or masters degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field, experience in small animal experiments, cell culture techniques, and basic knowledge in enzyme assays and PCR techniques.
